Dark Age of Camelot - Blademaster
Last Updated - November 31, 2002

Realm Hibernia
Allowed Races Celt, Firbolg
Way Guardian
Path Focus

Lightly armored, the Blademaster relies on his speed and agility to win battles as opposed to brute resiliance to damage. His dual weapons allow him to generate more damage than the average warrior, especially once trained in the skill, and his evasion skills will allow him to dodge incoming attacks quite nicely.

Alone, the Blademaster plays much like any warrior. Even though he cannot train in the use of the bow, it's a great advantage when when he misses, allowing him to lure enemy monsters into areas where he is more comfortable. His evasion skills will make up for the lighter armor, allowing him to take on the same creatures any warrior could.

Playing the part of primary tank isn't out of the Blademaster's scope - he can dish out enough damage to do it, and can dodge most of the extra damage he'd take. His best abilities are often used from the side or behind though, so the group may want to let someone else take the brunt of the attack in order to allow the Blademaster to use his abilities.
